Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Opening of InterContinental Indianapolis Hotel

Keystone Group and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) joined Governor Mike Braun, state and local elected officials, and civic and community leaders at a Ribbon Cutting for Indiana’s first global luxury hospitality brand just steps from the iconic Monument Circle and the Indiana State Capitol.

The InterContinental Indianapolis, housed in the historic Illinois Building at 17 West Market Street, is Indianapolis’ first luxury hotel to open in nearly two decades and features 170 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites complemented by two new dining concepts open to the public.

Both new dining concepts are helmed by award-winning Chef Craig Baker, including the first and highest rooftop bar of its kind offering never before seen views of the city. The property was listed as one of Indiana’s 10 most endangered landmarks before it was purchased by Keystone Group and redeveloped and transformed into the luxury and modern hotel it is today.
