Keystone Sponsors Miracle Mile Parade

April 24, 2008 (Indianapolis, IN) – Keystone Construction has been announced as this year’s corporate sponsor for the legendary Miracle Mile Parade. The parade, which gained it’s popularity in the 50’s and 60’s, was revived last year as a way to involve the community and support redevelopment along Madison Avenue.

This year the newly elected Mayor Ballard with his wife, Winnie, will serve as the parade’s Grand Marshals.

The parade will take place August 30th at 1 p.m. The route will pass by the corner of Hanna and Madison Avenues, where Keystone is developing a 40,000 square foot shopping center. Keystone’s president and chief executive officer, Ersal Ozdemir, is excited about assisting in the south side revitalization. “I think this will grow because this is the main artery to go south from downtown. There are other people looking to redevelop these buildings. There are a lot of great people living around here. It just needs to refocus” he said.

Revitalization is a familiar term to Keystone since the company has renovated many notable establishments such as Six Over Meridian, The Majestic Building and Madison Plaza. With all their recent improvements to downtown not only do they contribute to making Indianapolis a more desirable city to live and work in, but they also stand out as a company with vision.
