Offering is part of a $125,000 commitment to Indianapolis Public Schools’ football programs. An Indianapolis high school is receiving free football equipment on Tuesday, Aug. 30, thanks to USA Football and its corporate and strategi7c partner, Keystone Construction. It is part of an overall $125,000 donation worth of equipment to Indianapolis Public School football programs.

Keystone Construction will deliver two pickup trucks filled with new helmets, shoulder pads, blocking shields, tackling dummies and other equipment to Arsenal Tech High School (1500 E. Michigan St.) at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, coinciding with the end of the day’s practice session. Keystone Construction CEO ERSAL OZDEMIR will present the equipment to Tech coaches and players.

The donation was made possible through Keystone Construction’s support of USA Football in an effort to help build stronger communities.

“We are proud to support USA Football’s mission of ensuring positive football experiences throughout Indianapolis as well as to promote the sport’s values of teamwork and responsibility that make football an exceptional game for our kids,” Ozdemir said.

IPS high school seniors who play football have a 94 percent graduation rate, which is 22 points higher the national average for American high school seniors (72 percent).

Indianapolis-based USA Football is the national governing body of the sport in the United States as well as the official youth football development partner of the Colts, the NFL and each of the league’s other 31 teams.
